Minors

We do not knowingly transact with minors. In the event that we become aware that a minor has placed an order without parental consent, we would need to cancel that order and issue a full refund.

4.1 Product descriptions

We make every effort to represent our products accurately, including descriptions, page counts, age recommendations, activity types, and photographs. Please note that slight variations in colour, paper texture, or print quality may exist between what appears on screen and the physical product received, due to natural differences in screen calibration and print production.

Such minor variations do not constitute a defect and are not grounds for return or refund unless the product is physically damaged upon arrival.

4.2 Age recommendations

Our products carry age recommendations, for example, 2.5-3 Years or 3-3.5 Years. These are developmental guidelines based on our design process and testing, and are intended as helpful guidance rather than guarantees of suitability for every individual child. Parents and caregivers are best placed to judge whether a product is appropriate for their child's current level, and we warmly encourage you to review our sample pages and product descriptions before making a purchase.

4.3 Product availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. If a product you ordered becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you promptly and offer a full refund.

4.4 One-time use

Our activity workbooks are thoughtfully designed for single use. Activities involve writing, tracing, drawing, and marking directly on the pages. The pages are not laminated and are not intended for reuse. This is clearly communicated in our product descriptions and is not considered a defect.

5.1 Pricing accuracy

All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate at the time of display.

5.2 Price changes

Prices are subject to change at any time. Any such changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

5.3 Pricing errors

In the unlikely event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at that price, even if the order has been confirmed. We will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund if payment has already been made. We would be unable to fulfil an order at an incorrectly listed price.

6.1 Validity

Any discount codes or promotional offers issued by JoyNest are valid only for the period and conditions specified at the time of issue. We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any promotion at any time.

6.2 One code per order

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, only one discount code may be applied per order. Discount codes may not be combined or stacked with any other offer, promotion, or discount.

6.3 Non-transferable

Discount codes issued to a specific customer are personal to that customer and may not be shared, sold, transferred, or published publicly. We reserve the right to cancel orders and deactivate codes where there are reasonable grounds to believe a code has been misused, shared beyond its intended scope, or applied in a manner inconsistent with its original purpose.

6.4 No cash equivalent

Discount codes carry no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash or credit under any circumstances.

6.5 Technical issues

If a valid discount code does not apply correctly at checkout due to a technical error on our part, we kindly ask that you contact us before completing your order. We are unable to apply discounts retrospectively after an order has been placed and payment has been completed.

7.1 Placing an order

When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your cart at the prices shown. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion.

7.2 Order confirmation

An order confirmation sent to your email address constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms a binding contract between you and JoyNest. We encourage you to review your order confirmation carefully and reach out to us immediately if any details appear incorrect.

7.3 Payment

All payments are processed securely through a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We accept all payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets.

By providing your payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided and that the information is accurate.

7.4 Payment security

JoyNest does not store, access, or process your payment credentials. All payment data is handled entirely by our payment gateway partner. In the event of a payment dispute, we would encourage you to contact your bank or email us.

7.5 Failed payments

If a payment does not go through, your order will not be confirmed. You are welcome to attempt the transaction again or use an alternative payment method. If an amount has been debited from your account but your order was not confirmed, please contact us with your transaction reference number and we will look into it promptly.

8.1 Dispatch

We aim to dispatch all orders on business days within 24-48 hours of payment confirmation. Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be dispatched on the next available business day.

8.2 Delivery timelines

We deliver across India. Standard delivery typically takes 3-7 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location. These are estimated timelines provided by our logistics partner and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Orders to remote or less accessible pin codes may take a little longer.

8.3 Shipping charges

Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and order value. We currently offer free shipping on all orders across India. Any changes to our shipping practices will be clearly communicated on our Website before you place an order.

8.4 Delivery address

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate when placing your order. We would be unable to accept responsibility for non-delivery or delays resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address. In the event a package is returned to us due to an address issue, a re-delivery charge may apply.

8.5 Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email or SMS. Tracking updates are provided directly by our logistics partner.

8.6 Delivery attempts

Our logistics partner will make reasonable attempts to deliver your order. If delivery is unsuccessful, the package may be returned to us. We recommend ensuring someone is available to receive the order at the provided address.

9.1 General policy

Given the nature of our products, printed activity workbooks thoughtfully designed for single use, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. We make every effort to provide detailed product information, sample pages, and age guidance on our website before purchase, so that you can make a fully informed decision with confidence.

9.2 Damaged on arrival

If your order arrives physically damaged due to mishandling in transit, we will gladly replace the product or issue a full refund, whichever you prefer. To allow us to assist you:

• Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
• Please share an unboxing video clearly showing the damaged product and its packaging via email or WhatsApp.
• The damage should be clearly attributable to transit handling rather than post-delivery use.

9.3 Incorrect product received

If you receive a product different from what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and share an unboxing video clearly showing the product received. We will arrange collection and send the correct product at no additional cost.

9.4 Refund processing

Approved refunds will be returned to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. We will notify you by email once your refund has been initiated.

9.5 Used products

Products that have been written in, drawn on, or used in any way are not eligible for return or refund. Comprehensive activity information, sample pages, and age suitability guidance is made available on our website prior to purchase to support your decision.

10.1 Ownership

All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, page layouts, and design, and all content within our physical products, including but not limited to activity designs, worksheet layouts, illustrations, instructions, page sequences, educational frameworks, and the overall look and feel of each workbook, represents the original creative work of JoyNest and is protected under:

• The Copyright Act, 1957 (India).
• The Trade Marks Act, 1999 (India).
• All applicable intellectual property laws of India and international conventions to which India is a party.

10.2 Restrictions on use

Out of respect for the work that goes into creating each product, we ask that you not, without our prior written permission:

• Reproduce, copy, scan, photograph, or digitise any page or portion of any JoyNest workbook for distribution, commercial use, or public sharing.
• Recreate, adapt, or create derivative works based on our activity designs, worksheet formats, or educational frameworks.
• Upload, share, or distribute our workbook content on any digital platform including social media, educational platforms, WhatsApp groups, or file-sharing services.
• Print, photocopy, or duplicate our workbook pages for use by multiple children as a substitute for purchasing additional copies.
• Use our brand name, logo, or any distinctive product elements for any commercial purpose without our written consent.

10.3 What you are welcome to do

We love being part of your family's day. You are warmly welcome to:

• Share photographs of your child using our products on social media. Please do tag us.
• Share your honest review of our products on any platform.
• Recommend our products to other parents.

10.4 Copyright infringement

If you become aware of any unauthorized reproduction or distribution of our content, we would appreciate it if you let us know at hello@myjoynest.in. We take the protection of our original work seriously and will pursue all remedies available under Indian law where necessary.

10.5 User-generated content

When you share photographs or reviews of our products and tag us on social media, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to share and use that content for our marketing purposes. We will always credit you where possible. Should you wish us to remove any content you have shared, please reach out and we will do so promptly.

12.1 General

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, JoyNest's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our website or products shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

12.2 Indirect loss

We would not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our products or Website, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity.

12.3 Product use

Our products are educational tools designed for use under adult supervision. Parents and caregivers are responsible for supervising children during use and for determining whether a product is appropriate for their child. JoyNest would not be liable for any injury, harm, or adverse outcome arising from the use or misuse of our products.

12.4 Third-party services

We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or practices of third-party services used for payments and our logistics partner for delivery. Any concerns regarding these services may be directed to them directly, and you may also notify us.

16.1 Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act 1872, the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the Information Technology Act 2000, and all other applicable legislation.

16.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of our Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.

16.3 Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you hold as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or any other applicable Indian consumer protection legislation. You are always welcome to approach the appropriate consumer forum if you feel your concerns have not been adequately addressed.

16.4 Informal resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, we genuinely encourage you to contact us directly. Most concerns can be resolved quickly and amicably through a simple conversation. Response time

The Officer will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and resolve your concerns within 30 days of receiving the complaint.
